CONTINUED GLOBAL SHIPPING DELAY IMPACT
In recent communications, we’ve addressed global shipping delays and the impact they are having on all of us. After the challenges we faced with the current mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration, we initiated additional measures to get ahead of the possibility of problems persisting. Even with these added efforts on our part, delays have escalated to unprecedented levels beyond what anyone imagined.
These delays are going to significantly impact the January–June 2022 Mini Catalog and January–February 2022 Sale-A-Bration launches. A substantial number of products will not be available when preorder begins, and some not even by customer launch. After careful evaluation and deliberation, we feel we’ve created a responsible and effective plan to account for the challenges before us. As a result, we will move forward with these launches as scheduled.
We’ve strategically selected products from both of these publications for airfreight in an effort to provide an effective product offering for preorder launch. We believe this approach will support selling and promoting the new offering in your businesses. Product needs for OnStage and Product Purchase Premiere have been accounted for in this planning. While we’d love to be able to airfreight all our products, it is cost-prohibitive to do so (this transportation method would be cost-prohibitive as the primary means for product transport during normal times, but during 2021, the demand and cost for it has exponentially increased due to the global ocean freight delays).
Knowing that global shipping delays are causing substantial product availability challenges, we are working to provide you with more information leading into, and during preorder. We will provide more details mid-November, as information and planning continue to solidify. We will also be working with demonstrator groups to explore how you might navigate these product availability issues in ways that reduce disruption and frustration. We will share more information about the outcome of these collaborative efforts leading up to preorder.

NEW STAMPIN’ UP! YEAR AND RETITLEMENT
The new Stampin’ Up! year is fast approaching. To keep your current title and all its benefits into the 2021–2022 Stampin’ Up! year, you will need to meet all of your title’s requirements by 11:50 PM (MT) on 30 September. On 1 October, Stampin’ Up! will review the performance of every demonstrator to determine the title at which they’re performing; demonstrators who are not meeting their title requirements will be retitled accordingly. For example, in order to maintain the benefit of 25% instant income, you will need to meet title requirements for bronze elite by the stated deadline; otherwise, you will be retitled to bronze and return to earning 20% instant income. To learn more about titles and title requirements, read the Titles section of the Compensation Plan document, including the Titles Q & A. If you are not on track to maintain your title for the new Stampin’ Up! year, you will see a Progress to Maintain Title graph on your My Reports dashboard that will help you track how you’re doing.
It’s with appreciation and a grateful heart that we support Paula Critchlow’s personal decision to step down from her role as Vice President of Product & Design at the end of this year so she can spend more time with her husband, Jay, and their family.
Paula’s Stampin’ Up! story started with attending a workshop many years ago, becoming a demonstrator shortly after that, and then coming to work for Stampin’ Up! nearly twenty-two years ago. She has served in many roles during her time with the company, and her influence and contributions have been extremely meaningful.
Paula has been planning this change with Sara and Shelli for some time now, and the process to hire her replacement has begun. She has expressed interest in staying at Stampin’ Up! in a part-time capacity and will be watching for the right opportunity. We’re thankful for Paula and the difference she’s made to our Stampin’ Up! family!
NEW NORTHEAST AREA DEMONSTRATOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
We are excited to announce that Kate Spackman has joined Stampin' Up! as the Demonstrator Development Manager for the Northeast area of the United States. Along with a passion for continually elevating the customer experience, Kate comes to us with 19 years of experience as a small business owner, most recently from the real estate industry as both a business owner/team lead as well as instructor, coach, and mentor.
Kate has a servant's heart and truly enjoys helping others pursue lives beyond their wildest imaginations by achieving goals they’ve set for themselves. She is a connector of people and a tooter of horns, loving the celebration that comes with overcoming challenges and working toward always bettering our best.
As a Stampin’ Up! loyalist herself since 2003, she’s ecstatic about her new role and joining hands with our amazing demonstrators.
