WEEKLY UPDATES

9 March 2021

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM REGISTRATION OPENS TODAY!

Starting at 10:00 am (MT), registration for the Business Development Program begins! If you are selected to participate, you will have coaching calls with a Business Development Advisor (BDA) once every other week and receive guidance in these crucial business topics:

  • Identifying areas of opportunity for your business
  • Establishing short- and long-term action plans
  • Creating effective accountability systems

As a reminder, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and your entire form must be completed before any assignments can be made. Please also note that registration closes on 17 March at 10:00 pm (MT), so make sure to get your registration form submitted before time runs out!

This program is intended to provide you with helpful resources for building your business as an independent demonstrator. We will help you establish expectations for your business and explore your strengths and how they can help you grow. This is not a training program for demonstrators trying to learn more about the terms and policies within Stampin’ Up! Your advisor will push you to make your own, independent decisions for your business, mainly because you know your business and local area better than we ever could.

We are excited and hopeful that you will consider this program. We look forward to helping you progress in your business as an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. Click here to register.

THE SUN IS SETTING ON HERE’S TO YOU!

You’re running out of daylight! 10 March is the last day to subscribe to the Here’s to You Paper Pumpkin Kit. Reach out to your customers and remind them of this one-of-a-kind opportunity to offer a “hip, hip, hooray” and celebrate each of life’s magnificent milestones. With inspiring imagery, celebratory sentiments, and a pretty pack of reusable stencils, March’s majestic kit has something for every subscriber to enjoy!

For last-minute tips and tricks to promoting this month’s mountain-themed kit, hike on up to the promotion page. Then, be sure to stop for a breather at the Marketing Toolkit for free content from Paper Pumpkin that you can share with your customers on social media, through email, and more!

SUREPOST SHIPPING SERVICE

At Stampin’ Up! we understand that good delivery service is important. As transportation costs increase every year, we are always looking for ways to keep our overall costs low without passing them on to our demonstrators and customers. We have spent the past year evaluating transportation options that would allow us to maintain our current costs while still providing a good delivery experience. In January, we began testing UPS SurePost for some of our smaller shipments and have seen strong results. As such, we have implemented this option for our US shipments.

UPS SurePost is a service that picks up, transports within the UPS network, and delivers to your neighborhood post office for final delivery. In some cases, the UPS driver will keep the package and deliver it, but either way, the quoted time in transit is UPS ground plus one day. SurePost packages can be tracked on the UPS.com website or through the link that you receive in your email confirmation.

BRENDA STER WILL BE JOINING US FOR TWO WEBINARS ON FACEBOOK LIVE!

Webinar 1: open to all demonstrators!

Brenda Ster (social marketing expert and direct sales champion) will be joining us on Thursday, 25 March, to share recruiting strategies to build your team. For those of you who attended OnStage, this is a continuation of the information she shared during the event.  Come with a warm prospect list (see below) and Brenda will help you with the exact language and strategy to add those people to your team.  Your challenge is to build your prospect list before that session.  Here are some ideas to generate a list of warm leads of people who would be great demonstrators but just don't know it yet:

  • Two recent customers
  • Two past hosts
  • Two people who actively engage in your social community
  • Two people who have expressed interest in the past

The webinar will occur in the Demonstrator Planning Place on Thursday, 25 March at 2:00 PM (MT). (Why the DPP? Facebook live allows us to have a wide audience and will allow Brenda to answer questions.) If you are not a part of the DPP, search the group on Facebook and request to be added. If you can’t attend live, the webinar will remain in the DPP so you can catch it on replay.

Note that the webinar will be in English. In the week following the webinar, we will upload automatic translations and share a link to a video that will include translated captions in the original post.

Webinar 2: for leaders (silver elite and above)

On Thursday, 1 April at 2:00 PM (MT), Brenda will offer a special webinar for our leaders about how to navigate your business as we (eventually) emerge from the pandemic. This webinar will take place in the Stampin’ Up! Leaders Facebook group. We’ve had several opportunities to work with Brenda and this will be one you won’t want to miss. If you can’t attend live, the webinar will remain in the Leaders Facebook group to view at your convenience.

Note that the webinar will be in English. In the week following the webinar, we will upload automatic translations and share a link to a video that will include translated captions in the original post.
