SU!: Supremely Frustrated

Barbara Felece

Hi Everyone,

I am having major difficulty placing orders in OEX. Things like items
disappearing from the order list, getting all the way to submitting an
order and having no totals, constant error messages when I select the
appropriate tax rate. In short, I have been unable to complete any orders.
I do not have a DBWS so my customers email me with their orders.
Called DS today to report the problem and had them do the demonstrator
order I was trying to submit. They said they were unaware of any technical
problems but would look into it. This evening I'm getting orders from
customers and so I tried again - same problems.
I will be really upset if one of my customers misses out because an item
has sold out by the time I can once again call DS to give them my orders.I
appreciate that they will do that for us, but I'd much rather be able to do
my orders online like most people. I have tried using different web
browsers which didn't work for me either.

Thanks for letting me vent! Has anyone else ever had this kind of
experience with OEX? I usually submit my orders through OEX but have been
unable to lately and don't know what to do except keep callin DS.

Thanks again,
Barbara

I had this same problem earlier today. I kept having to exit out and go back in to modify my order. Kind of a pain, but persistence paid off. I finally got my orders in. I was starting to get worried that I'd miss the one day only sale.

Oh, Barbara!

Can I relate to you and your headaches!!!  I went through the same thing,
but it lasted for 3 months before one special gal in DS had me switch from
Outlook Express to Mozilla Firefox.  It was like a miracle for me.  I had to
call in every order because OEX just wouldn't work for me.  We finally
figured out that I had a new computer installed and the installer changed my
settings.  Hopefully that will be a fix for you, but if not, just keep
calling DS and have them help you through this mess.

Thanks everyone for your responses and support. The web browser I am
currently using is chrome. I tried in IE and Firefox- no luck. I am using a
PC not a Mac. I don't know how DS can say they are not aware of any problem
because by your responses, obviously you've had problems. Don't mean to dis
DS, they are wonderfully helpful, but this is a problem-- I feel your
pain!! Don't think I have the energy to try again tonight. Will try again
in the morning and /or call DS again.
Thanks everyone!
Barbara

I just had a call from one of my good customers.  She and her cousin are having the same problems... and they both want all three of the 24 hour sale items!  I hope they extend the 24 hour sale because of the problems.

Try clearing your cookies, closing your browser and then re-opening the
