Technique Spotlight—1321 – Glitter Window

image.png

This week’s technique spotlight looks at the Glitter Window method. You can find the directions provided by Jeanne Moss by clicking here.

Each week I will pick a technique. Find samples using this technique or create one yourself and pin to SUDSOL with the coordinating week number.  Pinning to SUDSOL is super easy (instructions are here).  The idea is to have a good selection of samples shared for each week's technique so everyone can benefit from the fantastic ideas.  This week’s PIN ID is STC1321.

What is the WIN part?  Each week I will pick a random pin to reward the person who pinned it with a week of free SUDSOL.  Play every week and have a chance to get your SUDSOL membership totally free!  You get one entry for every new pin you make.  Sorry, re-pinning from items already on SUDSOL does not count.

New Pattern Challenge Program

PC 6 – C&Q (Cute & Quick) Basket

image.png

Have you realized Easter is just a few days away!?  I can’t believe I have procrastinated so badly on completing my Easter treats for the staff I work with at school!  I saw this little basket on Pinterest and just had to make them as treat baskets for my school along with for the staff where my daughter teaches and now it’s your turn!  How wonderful would these be to hand out at Easter or to even use as an Easter Dinner place marker with a little treat inside?  There are so many possibilities!

So now here I am, having one of my student aides cutting 6 x 6 squares so I can score, cut and glue before and after school!  These baskets not only go together fast, they are cute and you can use up some of that DSP you've been hording!

Make some and then post for all to see using PC 6 as your Pin ID.  Each week I will pick a random pin to reward the person who pinned it with a week of free SUDSOL.  Play every week and have a chance to get your SUDSOL membership totally free!  You get one entry for every new pin you make, BUT remember re-pinning from items already on SUDSOL does not count.

SUDSOL Design Challenge – SDC658 – I’ll Miss You!

-

Hey stampers,

Now that the retirement list is out, what retiring stamp set will you miss most? Your challenge this week is to design and pin a project using your favorite retiring stamp set. Use the tag SDC658 so we all can find your design. If we have enough players, someone will win a free week of SUDSOL.

For me it is Arrange a Wreath. I just bought it and haven’t had a chance to use it much! L I love the variety of seasons you can design for with this bundle. Here are a few samples that made me buy this bundle.

Keep on designing and pinning,

Sue Erickson, SUDSOL Design Challenge Coordinator

New PIN to WIN program – Gift of Hope

Get ready for the new PIN to WIN program! Each week I will pick a stamp set to focus on and encourage you to participate by finding samples for this stamp set and pinning them to SUDSOL. This week’s stamp set is:

Gift of Hope

So go out and find samples shared on the web with each week's stamp set and pin them to SUDSOL! The samples can even be items you've made yourself if you like! The idea is to have a good selection of samples shared for each week's stamp set so everyone can benefit from the fantastic ideas. What's the WIN part? Well, each week I'll pick a random pin to reward the person who pinned it with a week of free SUDSOL. Play every week and have a chance to get your SUDSOL membership totally free! You get one entry for every new pin you make. Sorry, re-pinning from items already on SUDSOL doesn't count.
