Work of Art block placement photo

Sara Levin

I opened the Work of Art stamp set we were given at the Catalog Premiere last Monday with the intention of turning the wood mount set I had received into clear mount.  Before I did anything, I happened to notice how tight a fit the wood blocks are in the case.  So, I pulled out my camera.  Here's a picture.  I knew I'd never be able to work the puzzle of getting them all back in the case without it.

I opened mine yesterday, didn't think about getting them back in the case once I took them out.  I mounted them, used two of them and then couldn't get them back in the case.  I will hang onto your photo as a guide for future reference.

OMG thank you! I have had a great time playing with this set; I like it a lot. But it takes me 15 min to put the puzzle back together when I'm done!! And you have to put the stamps in wood side down to make them fit. Thanks for the help!

I too couldn't fit them back in the box.  Had my husband fit the puzzle together and took a picture to tape to the inside of the case.

That's funny!  When I saw my downline having so much trouble with hers, we decided to take a picture of how the original placement worked.  I did not have so much trouble with mine...in fact, I ran off the "placement" picture and glued it inside my stamp box for future help!

This was a great idea Sara. I really have gotten to preferring clear mount stamps so I put the labels on the stamps without mounting them and used the Tombow glue to make them sticky enough to stay on the clear blocks. I took a photo copy of the labels before I removed them to keep in the box of the wood blocks. The stamps I am storing in a spare clear mount box.

What *I* did was dump the blocks, trim the stickers a teeny bit, mounted them on the stamps, stuck the scrap rubber frame in the box and put the stamps in their respective holes. Now they mount on my clear blocks like BUTTAH!

Hi- I had that problem with Peaceful Petals. What I did was once I
figured out the puzzle- I took a thin marker and outlined around each
stamp. I also wrote which stamp is was as in: Large Flower, Vine etc. NO
problems after that!! HTH- Kay Capps
