Updates: March 12, 2020: ONTOUR REGISTRATION AND CORONAVIRUS
ONTOUR REGISTRATION AND CORONAVIRUS
We have been following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) coverage like many of you. We’ve heard concerns from some demonstrators regarding OnTour and Coronavirus with registration starting next week.
The good news is that we designed OnTour differently than OnStage, and the nature of these events (small scale, local) afford us more flexibility. These smaller events mostly involve local travel, which reduces the impact if changes to plans have to be made. We will be following advisories and warning levels issued by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, and other governmental agencies. There is a possibility that some of our OnTour events may be cancelled as a result.
So here’s what this means for you:
We are continuing with registration as planned.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will make potential cancellation decisions closer to the scheduled events.
If Stampin’ Up! cancels an event, demonstrators will be reimbursed for registration.
If a registered demonstrator chooses not to attend, we will follow our standard refund process for OnTour, which states, “for OnTour, we aren’t offering full or partial refunds if you register and then can’t make it to the event.”
However, as we continue to follow the situation, we will evaluate whether we need to make changes to our current OnTour refund policy.
We are monitoring news of the situation as it unfolds and we’re working to account for its possible impact to several business aspects (manufacturing, transportation, travel, events, etc.). The health and safety of demonstrators and staff are important to us and we appreciate your partnership and patience as we all work to address this global issue.
