PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED

Applications Are Now Open for Demonstrator Councils

Over the past several months, you’ve heard us talk about Demonstrator Councils, letting you know that more information is coming. That time is now. We’re excited to announce that applications for the Demonstrator Councils are now open.

What does this mean?

Demonstrator Council members will partner with the Demonstrator Development Managers (DDMs) as ambassadors for and champions of Stampin’ Up! to motivate and inspire demonstrators.

We want to create the best councils we can, and that’s where you come in! We want to hear from all eligible demonstrators* and invite you to submit an application today.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a broad base of demonstrators with a diverse range of backgrounds and skills to support our DDMs. Click here to read more about what we’re looking for in council members and what you can expect if chosen for the council.

Why would you want to be involved?

Not only will you be building relationships with other demonstrators, but you’ll get to use your creativity and field experience to help drive sales, recruiting, and leadership. You’ll also represent the larger demonstrator base in strategic discussions.

How do you apply?

Simple! The application is a two-stage process:

  1. First, click here to complete the initial application survey. This will close September 11 at 11:50 PM (MT).
  2. We will review the surveys and reach out to those who are selected for the next stage. These applicants will be invited to a phone/video conference interview with the DDM of their area.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by October 17, and we will announce the councils at November 2018 OnStage.

We look forward to receiving your application!

*Note: In order to apply, demonstrators need to have been active for a minimum of 18 months in their current demonstratorship. This ensures that they have had time to become familiar with Stampin’ Up! policies and practices, and our compensation plan and culture. After 18 months, we expect they will have gained an understanding of, and experience with, the business, and have had sufficient opportunity to meet and connect with other demonstrators. All of these will be valuable as they participate as a council member.

Share Your 30-Year Printout on Facebook

Join in the fun on Facebook over the next week, and share some of the ways Stampin’ Up! has impacted your life! To make it easy, we’ve designed several printouts with different prompts, which you can download from our 30thanniversary page. On September 4, a member of Stampin’ Up!’s corporate team will share their printout on Facebook. Following their post, that printout will be available for you to download. All you have to do after that is print it, fill in your answer, take a quick selfie, and share your image on Facebook using the hashtag #StampinUp30. (Who knows . . . your image may even be shown at OnStage!)

We can’t wait to see what you’ll share—and we know your customers and fellow demonstrators can’t wait either!

Something Spooky This Way Comes

Have you heard about Paper Pumpkin’s September kit? It comes in a specially-designed, scary-cute box and is full of everything you and your subscribers need to have a successful Halloween crafting experience. Click here to learn more about this frightfully fun kit and how to promote it to your customers.

Labels on Petal Pink Classic Stampin’ Pads

We’ve discovered that the labels on some of our Petal Pink Classic Stampin’ Pads (item 147108) are faded and/or yellowing. This issue does not affect the quality of the ink in the pad or your ability to use it in your crafting. We’re working with our vendor to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

If you placed an order July 6, 2018, or later for a Petal Pink Classic Stampin’ Pad and you notice this issue with its label, feel free to contact Demonstrator Support and we’ll send you a new label you can replace on your current ink pad (we will not send a new ink pad since the ink is not affected). Some of these pads may be affected through the end of the year.

Keep in mind that in addition to single pads you ordered, you may notice this issue on Petal Pink pads included in the collection of Subtles Classic Stampin’ Pads or New Color Assortment Classic Stampin’ Pads.
