(We originally planned this trip for 2021, but with Covid-19 travel restrictions requiring us to reschedule the Maui trip, we moved the Eastern Caribbean trip to 2022.)
This incentive trip offers travel adventures such as hiking volcanoes, kayaking, exploring action-packed cities, and enjoying thrilling cruise ship activities—as well as plenty of time to relax on stunning beaches and by the pool. You’ll also enjoy endless activities aboard the biggest cruise ship in the world—the Symphony of the Seas! The trip will take place 14–21 May 2022, and the earning period for it begins in October; so start setting some goals to start the earning period strong. Keep in mind the requirements for earning this trip will incorporate the recent changes to our rewards and recognition programs, which go into effect 1 October 2020. When planning the dates for the trip, we considered other events and business happenings including OnTour, BackStage, OnStage, and catalog preorders and launches. We intentionally steered clear of the April annual catalog preorder and first week of the catalog launch to your customers in May 2022. While the exact dates of our trips vary due to group size, trip destination, and business considerations, over the next couple of years our incentive trip will occur in May and you’ll want to take that into account as you plan the launch of the annual catalog to your customers.

As many of you likely saw last week, we experienced unexpected issues with the inventory of Clearance Rack products. Normally our system monitors the inventory levels of Clearance Rack items, but something went wrong this time and we oversold a number of products. We are still working out the details, but we will need to issue refunds for many of those purchases.

As you consider items you’d like to sell, please keep in mind our Cash and Carry Policy allows the sale of retired Stampin’ Up! products, and a selection of current products only. If you have new, unused, current Stampin’ Up! products that you no longer want, consider exchanging the product for something on your wish list. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM REGISTRATION OPENS TOMORROW
Starting 9 September at 10:00 am (MT), registration for the Business Development Program begins! If you are selected to participate, you will have coaching calls with a Business Development Advisor (BDA) once every other week and receive guidance in these crucial business topics:
Identifying areas of opportunity for your business
Establishing short- and long-term action plans
Creating effective accountability systems
As a reminder, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and your entire form must be completed before any assignments can be made. Please also note that registration closes on 18 September at 10:00 am (MT), so make sure to get your registration form submitted before time runs out!
This program is intended to provide you with helpful resources for building your business as an independent demonstrator. We will help you establish expectations for your business and explore your strengths and how they can help you grow. This is not a training program for demonstrators trying to learn more about the terms and policies within Stampin’ Up! Your advisor will push you to make your own, independent decisions for your business, mainly because you know your business and local area better than we ever could.

CORRECTION TO PREVIOUS UPDATE: NEW RESOURCES ON DBWS
On 18 August, we shared an exciting announcement about our new shareable resources available on DBWS. In this update, we mistakenly reported that these new shareables will redirect the customer to their default online store. We should have stated that these shareables will direct customers to YOUR online store.
For example, if you (as a DBWS subscriber) post one of the new shareable resources to your Facebook page, anyone who clicks that shareable will be taken to your online store.
