NEW THIS WEEK

Demonstrator Planning Place Changes

We have recently changed the rules in the Demonstrator Planning Place, our demonstrator Facebook Group. Our objective with this change is to improve the group and make it a more effective tool for demonstrators.

Here’s a list of the redefined rules:

  • All posts will either be approved or deleted.

Posts that will be approved:

  • Photos of a project with names of the stamp set/product /technique included in the description.
  • Videos (including Facebook Live) with a clear photo of the project being demonstrated, as well as the names of the stamp set/product/technique included in the description.
  • Business brainstorming ideas about events, customers, sharing, recruiting, increasing sales, preparing, etc.

Posts that will be deleted without explanation:

  • Self-promotion posts that encourage clicking, following, hopping, watching, liking, buying, etc.
  • Personal questions that should be directed to Demonstrator Support.
    • Compliance
    • Flex points
    • Ordering
    • Finding information on the demonstrator website
  • Stamp room set up posts.
  • Product storage ideas posts.
  • Asking for ideas or help (posts will be more searchable).
  • Anything related to a specific geographic area (this is a global group).
  • Posts about card-sending campaigns.
  • Posts with rants, negativity, complaints, and attacks.

If you aren’t a member of the Demonstrator Planning Place and would like to be, follow this link and request to join. Thank you for your understanding.

World Card Sending Week

Thank you for joining us last Saturday for World Card Making Day! We had a wonderful day stamping with you and checking in on your events around the world.

Now it’s time to send some cards! Welcome to our first annual World Card Sending Week—happening now. Our goal is to send 50,000 cards from Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, customers, and employees between Sunday, October 6 and Saturday, October 12.

Add up how many you and your customers send. Then, use this link to report your total by October 16 at 11:59 PM (MT) and you’ll be entered into a random drawing for prizes! We’ll share periodic updates on the Demonstrator Planning Place and announce the final results on October 29. Don’t let those cards collect dust, send them this week and use #worldcardsendingweek to tag photos on social media.

Everything Is Rosy Now on Clearance

The Everything Is Rosy Product Medley is now available for 15% off through the Clearance Rack. Everything Is Rosy was our first product medley and sold May 1–31, 2019. After the sales period ended, we found that we have enough remaining inventory to bring this limited-time product offering back—but this is the last opportunity you and your customers will have to purchase it.

Because product medleys are still a new product type, we have chosen to offer a smaller discount on Everything Is Rosy than we normally do on items in the Clearance Rack. You’ll find the details here.

Flex Point Redemption Reminders

The last day to redeem flex points from the 2018–2019 Stampin’ Up! year is October 31, 2019. You can view and redeem your flex points under  Ordering>My Flex Account. Please keep the following in mind as you are making plans and redeeming points:

  • Read the descriptions and place redemptions carefully. Since this rewards program is closely tied to earning the incentive trip, there cannot be any rollover of points. Consequently, all selections are final; there are no refunds or exchanges for Flex Account items.
  • All flex items are available while supplies last.
  • Flex items are not tied to a specific Stampin’ Up! year; items will come and go throughout the year.
  • The local currency value for product credits will be based on the payout factor in effect during flex point redemption (not the payout factor in effect when placing the product order).

I've been out of town - and just read this info!  Tell your demo friends that those posts that SU! will delete - are mostly welcome on SUDSOL!

We love many of these - especially Stamp room set up posts, Product storage ideas posts, Asking for ideas or help!!

While we don't "like" rants/negativity, etc - we do also realize that sometimes you need to share and get ideas to help you with problems, etc too!! SUDSOL is a closed group, open to SU! demos only and sometimes we are the only others that understand your frustrations! :)
