We had such a great time celebrating with many of you last week at OnStage. As we’ve mentioned before, we’re changing our overall event strategy beginning next year. While our twice-a-year OnStage events were well attended with rave reviews, we want to improve two major areas in our event offering. The first is to reach those of you who live in places where we won’t offer OnStage events (because there aren’t enough demonstrators in the area to hold an OnStage or because of venue limitations). We also want to give our leaders across the world a chance to get together in one location to network and receive training.
We’ll now offer three event types throughout each year: OnStage Live in one location and OnStage Local the same week in multiple locations, OnTour in multiple locations, and BackStage in one location. Read on to learn about each of these events and visit this page to find even more details.
OnStage Live and OnStage Local (plus CentreStage for silver elite and above)
The way these events work won’t change except that we’ll only have OnStage in November every year (and no longer in April). November is shortly after the beginning of the Stampin’ Up! year, so we can start it off right—with inspiration, recognition for your accomplishments from the year before, and new products in action from the January–June 2020 Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. These new three-hour events will be hosted by our demonstrator development managers every April and/or May. They’re designed to kickstart the annual catalog in your business and help you connect with other local demonstrators so you’re ready to sell the new products. Our aim is to reach those of you who may not be able to travel to one of our OnStage Live or Local events. Find out about our upcoming OnTour events here.
This new global business conference for leaders gives our silver elite and above demonstrators the chance to gather together, connect, and network—something we hadn’t been offering with our OnStage events. Just like a VIP backstage pass to a concert, we’re thrilled that BackStage will give our leaders special access: to each other, to the leadership team, and to helpful information to re-energize their business. So how do you decide what events to attend? Here’s what we suggest:
OnStage Live or OnStage Local: We hope you can all come—it’s an amazing demonstrator gathering and tons of fun.
OnTour: We recommend you attend if you live near one of the events and can easily get to and from it the day of the event. They’re simple and only three hours long so we don’t want you to travel a long distance or incur hotel costs to attend.
BackStage: If you’re silver elite and above, this is a business conference you won’t want to miss.

On December 3, the January–June 2020 mini catalog preorder and Sale-A-Bration brochure pre-earn periods begin! If you haven’t already, head over to the Catalogs page and check out the PDFs of the new catalog and brochure. This is your chance to take advantage of early, demonstrator-only access to these new products and get a head start on planning your January events.
Earn a FREE Stamp Set with the Painted Poppies Sales Challenge
It was so great to have many of you at OnStage with us last week! During one of the classes, we extended a challenge, and we’d like to invite ALL of you to have the chance to earn a free stamp set by joining in on the challenge:
Sell four or more Painted Poppies Stamp Sets between November 16, 2019, and February 15, 2020, and earn a free pre-selected stamp set from the 2020–2021 Annual Catalog!
The Painted Poppies Stamp Set is from the new January–June 2020 Mini Catalog, which will be available to customers beginning January 3, 2020. And if you preorder a set in December, it will count toward the challenge too! We’ll have more information and resources for you in December, so watch for that and make a goal to complete the challenge!
Reasons to Reach Out to Your Customers
We want to partner with you as Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, and put you in the best position to succeed. That’s why we’ll be giving you reasons to reach out to your customers every month during each quarter throughout the year.
Our hope is that this will allow you to take advantage of things like demonstrator preorder periods, and plan how to use marketing materials with minimal effort during the following customer sales period. We also want this useful information to help recruit new team members.
