UPDATES: NOVEMBER 7, 2017: Weekly Updates Week 45

Blythe Klipple

New this Week

Use & Follow #OnStage2017

Excited to join us at OnStage this weekend? We are too! Use #OnStage2017 in your social media posts to share your experience with others. (Just make sure to follow the Spoiler Alert Policy guidelines since we don’t want to spoil the surprises for demonstrators attending OnStage in other time zones.)

Are you not able to make it to an OnStage event this year? Bummer! Make sure to follow #OnStage2017 on our Facebook and Instagram accounts over the weekend to see what’s happening and stay in the loop. Then plan to join us in April 2018 so you can be sharing posts too!

A Season of Style: Going, Going . . .

If you have customers who love the holidays and want to make something festive and fun that only takes a few minutes to assemble—we have a solution. It’s called November’s Paper Pumpkin kit, and it is amazing. When they open the box they’ll find eight little somethings that they might want to hang by the chimney with care—or on a wrapped gift or a neighbor’s door. So call your friends and neighbors today—and be sure to remind them that they must subscribe by November 10 at 11:50 PM (MT) to get this Santa-approved kit! Get all the crafty details here.

Please note: Because November 10 falls on a Friday, we will bill this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit on Monday, November 13.

No Expedited Orders Thursday, November 9

Because of Stampin’ Up! employees’ attendance at OnStage Live on Thursday, November 9, expedited ordering will be unavailable from Wednesday, November 8, 11:00 AM (MT) through Thursday, November 9, 11:00 AM (MT). Expedited ordering will resume on Friday, November 10. Thank you for your patience!

Artisan Design Team Announcement

In 2014, what began as an award transformed into a team of designers: the Artisan Design Team. The program started with 10 members from the North American market but would quickly grow and evolve. In 2015, we evaluated the needs of the team and decided to increase its size to 20—and include members from all existing markets. The team has been operating under the same structure ever since. We're constantly looking for ways to improve though, so we evaluated the Artisan Design Team once again.

Starting January 2018, the Artisan Design Team will have 16 members instead 20. We're confident this change will benefit you, your customers, and our company. Here are some of the reasons for the adjustment:

  • We will be able to provide better service to a smaller team, which will improve the experience for everyone involved.
  • Each market will still be represented; the number of representatives from each market will fluctuate based on where the strongest candidates are each year.
  • The team will be more elite and will reward members with more recognition for their outstanding talents.
  • For our demonstrators and their customers, reading through 16 blogs is less time consuming. It also gives them more time receive inspiration and work on their own creations!

We can't wait to see all of the innovations and creations from the 2018 Artisan Design Team. We hope you'll follow along and be inspired by what they share!

In the OnStage update below it says... " Then plan to join us in April 2018 so you can be sharing posts too!", that's a typo right?  There isn't an event in April next year right, just next November in Orlando?

Please Welcome Stampin’ Up!’s New VP of Sales

Jill TaylorWe’re pleased to announce Jill Taylor as Stampin’ Up!’s new VP of Sales. As a prior member of Stampin’ Up!’s Board of Directors, she’s a familiar face to many, and we’re excited to welcome her to the corporate team and the Stampin’ Up! family!

Jill is known for her commitment to community, relationships, and helping others. She is a proven and dynamic leader with a wealth of experience in business development, strategic planning, and professional development. Most recently she was senior vice president and regional president at Key Bank where she successfully restructured business operations, significantly improving overall performance, profitability, and employee engagement.

She and her husband, Jason, have three children, and they love spending time together boating, attending sporting events, and playing board games. She enjoys playing the piano, working in the yard, and is a chocoholic.

Those attending OnStage Live in Salt Lake City will have the opportunity to meet Jill in person, and she’ll be at other Stampin’ Up! events in the future, as well.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Up! family, Jill!

Yes and it's on the SU! website as well (now that I looked after asking my question).

Actually, I’m pretty sure that was announced at the last On Stage event. I’ve known about the all-local next April for quite some time now…
