Announcing the 2018 Artisan Design Team Opportunity
Each year, Stampin’ Up! invites demonstrators from around the world to become members of the Artisan Design Team*; selection is based on projects and content found on demonstrators’ DBWS or personal blogs.
If invited to serve, demonstrators have the unique opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity throughout the year; additionally, they can look forward to influencing trends and crafting all over the world. Here are a few of the perks for those selected to represent this elite team:

Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands, and may be restricted on US

The “Celebrating 15 Years” Logo is Now Available (CA Only)
You can find this new logo in the “From the Home Office” section of the Print Lab. Include it on your advertisements, flyers, and even your emails! Be sure to review the Logo Usage Guidelines as you prepare to use the logo (also in the Print Lab).
*As a reminder, demonstrators may use the logo in advertising and promotional materials. Demonstrators may not place the logo on any other items such as t-shirts, pens, or other merchandise without prior approval.
We wanted to remind you that whenever we need to make an update to our systems or servers we do so on Saturdays between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM (MT). While you typically won’t notice any difference on our websites during these times, it’s possible that you might experience delays or might not be able to place orders while we make updates. We’ve chosen this time because it’s consistently the lowest usage time across all of our markets.
Fraudulent Order Requests
We receive occasional reports from concerned demonstrators about fraudulent order requests. While we do not think this is a widespread problem, we remind you to protect your personal information and proceed with caution if you receive a suspicious email. When sending mass emails to your customers and/or team, consider pasting the email addresses in the BCC line so only the sender can see the recipients of any given email. The blind carbon copy option prevents the spread of valid emails to fraudulent individuals, thus protecting you, your customers, and your team.
The fraudulent order usually comes in the same basic email format. First, they want to place an order and explain that they will send payment using a cashier's check or money order. Then, they ask for your personal information (full name, telephone number, address, etc.) and claim that they will send payment before you place the order. If you receive a request like this, be cautious! You should never give out your personal information or send an order without collecting payment--no matter how legitimate it may seem. A real customer should only need your email address or telephone number and will always pay you first.
In an age of technology, these scams are more clever and deceptive. While it may be impossible to identify and avoid every scam, you can increase your awareness and learn to recognize the indications of a fraudulent order. Since this is a complex issue, please refer to the forum on Stampin' Connection as a central location for you to discuss and share information on the matter.
We remind you to stay vigilant, protect your personal information, and proceed with caution if you receive a suspicious request. Until you get to know your customer, consider only accepting credit card purchases in order to protect your personal information and guarantee payment for an order.

New Paper Pumpkin Logo
Chances are you’ve already noticed the fun, new Paper Pumpkin logo on the back of the 2017–2019 annual catalog (or maybe you saw it at OnStage!); on Monday you may have noticed it popping up again as we started releasing posts to reveal the logo slowly changing from old to new on our Paper Pumpkin Facebook and Instagram pages. Tomorrow we’ll release the full, official logo to the public via Facebook and Instagram, and shortly after the old logo will be replaced by the new one on paperpumpkin.com. With this fresh, new look happening at Paper Pumpkin, we wanted to make sure you were in the loop!
UPDATE FROM Blythe: I’m in the process of putting the 2017-2018 WORDS onto an Excel spreadsheet (Numbers for us Mac users) and it’ll be finished by the end of this week.
