Event Ideas Featuring New Annual Catalog Product Suites

We have four event idea PDFs for you to use in planning your 2019–2020 annual catalog events. These event ideas are each centered on a suite from the new catalog and include a project idea, supply list, step-by-step instructions, tips for marketing the event, and a project instruction sheet you can print for your customers!

These ideas were presented by demonstrators at the April 2019 OnStage events during the Product Spotlight presentations. These PDFs are a great resource for you to use in planning your new catalog events for when the new products are available to your customers in June.

Annual Catalog and Everything Is Rosy Project Supply Lists

The annual catalog and Everything Is Rosy sample supply lists are now available in the Print Lab—just in time for customer launch! These documents are part of a research project to determine how (and if) demonstrators use sample supply lists. Because of this, you’ll notice that the PDFs are very rough documents that do not meet our usual publishing standards—and typically would have been used internally only. Additionally, we are making these documents available to all markets in English only, though translated versions may be available in the future depending on the results of our research.

Important note: The purpose of this research is to track how many demonstrators are downloading the sample supply list PDFs. For this reason, we ask that you not share these documents. Instead, please provide the PDF links to your team members, so they can download the PDFs themselves. Please remember also that these are test documents and do not meet our publishing standards; therefore, demonstrators may share the information contained within the PDFs but may not share the documents themselves.

We hope you enjoy using these fantastic resources!

Coupon Codes and Non-commissionable Items

In a weekly update in April, we communicated that a coupon code could be used to purchase packs of catalogs. This was a mistake. Coupon codes cannot be used to purchase non-commissionable items (such as catalogs). We apologize for the mistake and any confusion this has caused.

Website Down for Maintenance (May 18)

On Saturday, May 18, IT will be performing website maintenance from 4:30 to 9:00 AM (MT). This maintenance will affect some of our core databases (including ordering, IDA, Flex accounts, commissions, reporting, DBWS, and Paper Pumpkin), so please plan accordingly. Thank you for your patience!

Unredeemed Paper Pumpkin Subscriptions

On its way to serving tens of thousands of customers, Paper Pumpkin has learned many great lessons, including some interesting information that we would like to share with you today.

Did you know? Current laws in most states and provinces require us to report redemption codes as unclaimed property if they have been outstanding for a specified amount of time (usually 3–5 years). This means that, depending on where you live, your unredeemed Paper Pumpkin code could eventually become inactive.

Is this a huge problem? No. If your unredeemed code deactivates due to the unclaimed property law in your state, you or your customers would simply need to contact us at 1-800-STAMP UP or ds@stampinup.com to reactivate the code(s).

However, this could be an inconvenience—especially for your customers. So to ensure the best Paper Pumpkin experience possible, we encourage timely redemption of prepaid codes. To simplify this process, we will be sending quarterly email reminders to anyone with prepaid codes that have not been redeemed within a year of purchase. (In other words, we will send the email to the person who purchased the code, not the recipient.)
