Stampin’ Up! Websites Updated to Reflect Die-Cutting and Embossing Product Line Changes

With the die-cutting and embossing product line changes, we’ve been updating our websites and online presence to reflect the new product names and product line. This includes removing videos from our websites and YouTube channel that feature the old-style die-cutting & embossing machine. We just want to give you a heads up in case you notice some of these changes!

Two Great Catalog Resources

We have a couple of great resources to help you and your customers dive into the new 2019–2020 annual catalog. Check out the Print Lab, under Products for the following:

  • 2019–2020 Annual Catalog Greetings Index
  • 2019–2020 Annual Catalog Adhesives Chart

Download these today to enhance your customers’ catalog experience.

Cost Calculator Updated

The Cost Calculator has been updated to show the new annual catalog products. The cost calculator is a tool designed to help you increase your business’s profitability by breaking down the cost of consumables for you. It shows your cost on individual items (i.e., cost per sheet of cardstock, per inch of ribbon, per button, or per envelope). We have also added a new feature where you can indicate the amount used on each consumable, and the total project cost will be figured for you. Being aware of your costs is a helpful step toward enjoying a rewarding and profitable business.

Hugs from Shelli Kit + Bird Ballad Suite

Stampin’ Up! is known by papercrafters all over the world for its coordinating products. In fact, coordination is one of the services we offer that sets us apart.

So when Paper Pumpkin decided to develop a global kit (May’s Hugs from Shelli kit), we of course thought about how we could help you sell catalog items with it. After all, giving your customers mix-and-match options from the catalog opens their eyes to a whole world of Stampin’ Up! products. And when they catch the vision for expanding their creative options, your sales can jump.

The May Hugs from Shelli kit was designed to coordinate with the Bird Ballad suite (item 152190) on p. 91–92 of the new annual catalog. This suite sells for $94.75 (USD)/$128.75 (CAD) and includes the following:

  • Free as a Bird Stamp Set (item 149468)
  • Stitched Nested Labels Dies (item 149638)
  • Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (item 149592)
  • Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin (item 149565)
  • 3/8" (1 cm) Scalloped Lace Trim (item 149593)
  • Bird Ballad Trinkets (item 149594)

If your customers aren’t ready to purchase the entire suite, encourage them to pick up the Designer Series Paper or the adorable tin. They can’t go wrong with any of the products in this gorgeous suite.

To help you sell this fantastic coordination opportunity to your Paper Pumpkin customers, we have created a flyer showcasing Hugs From Shelli and the Bird Ballad Suite. Download it here to share online, at events, or to send via mail/email to your Paper Pumpkin customers. They’ll love finding out that they can make more with this classic kit than they ever imagined.

Hugs from Shelli Kit Unboxing Video

Now that you have your hands on the Hugs from Shelli kit, we want to make sure that you get the most you can from this uniquely beautiful, classic kit. Which is why we’ve created an unboxing video. This month’s video features Paper Pumpkin’s marketing specialist, Cole Lambourne, making the Shelli cards like a pro. So watch it yourself, then share it with the men in your life—so they’ll know that stamping is for everyone! And don’t forget to send the link to your subscribers—just to make sure they don’t miss out.

FYI, unboxing videos are available every month for our Paper Pumpkin subscribers. With the instructions that come with the kit and the instructional video, you (or your customers) never have to wonder how to assemble the projects in each month’s kit. Not a subscriber? Sign up today at paperpumpkin.com!

Download the suggested Starter Kit flyer by visiting the Print Lab (under Recruiting & Team Leading). Use #simplestamping to Share the New Annual Catalog

We’ve loved what you’ve been sharing, and we can’t wait to see more! We’re still sending surprises to thank participating demonstrators for posting their #simplestamping projects, so be sure share yours. (Remember: We want as many people as possible to see your creation, so please share your card outside of the Demonstrator Planning Place to get as much exposure as possible.)

Here are the creative parameters for June’s #simplestamping challenge:

PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED

Introducing the 3D Embossing Folder Plate

On April 9, 2019, we let you know that we are using a new supplier for our dies and embossing folders. We are introducing a new 3D Embossing Folder Plate to work with our new-style 3D embossing folders (which are thinner than our old-style Dynamic folders). It will be available in early June 2019 and we will let you know as soon as it is. We invite you to share this 3D Embossing Folder Plate flyer (US | CA-EN | CA-FR) with your customers.

Visit the die-cutting and embossing product line changes page for information on how to use the new plate as well as inventory information and tips.

Here are a few relevant reminders about the die-cutting and embossing product line changes:

  • All 3D embossing folders (previously named Dynamic) will be produced by our new supplier and made in the new style.
  • All new 3D embossing folders (denoted with a “new” icon in the catalog) will be available to order beginning June 4, 2019.
  • No carryover 3D embossing folders will be available to order beginning with the catalog launch but we will let you know when they are available to order.
  • Keep in mind that with the new supplier the folders are manufactured differently; this means they’ll look a little different and the way you use the new style will be a little different than how you used the old style.

Get the Beginner Brochure June 4, 2019

In just one week, the beginner brochure will be available to order! This new tool will help beginner stampers get started and will be a great resource to help you spread your passion. The brochure will be available June 4, 2019, but you can go to the web page here. So mark your calendars and get ready to change the lives of everyone around you!
