UPDATES: June 15, 2020: SUSPICIOUS CREDIT CARD CHARGES
SUSPICIOUS CREDIT CARD CHARGES
We’ve become aware of some unusual activity over the weekend involving what appears to be questionable charges from Stampin’ Up! on some demonstrator and customer credit cards. This issue has impacted North America.
A few important points right up front:
We are working to refund and address incorrect charges.
We have not had a data breech, and your payment information has not been compromised.
Please do not contact your credit card company and dispute the charges or cancel your credit card (cancelling will make refunding impossible).
The payment processing vendor is currently working to resolve the charges and disputing them will complicate and delay the resolution of the problem. If you have already done so, please contact your credit card company and notify them of what has occurred and that the payment vendor will work from their end to resolve the issue.
We’ve been in contact with the payment processing vendor since first thing this morning. They’ve acknowledged that during an internal maintenance process a rebilling was triggered from purchases made on January 31, 2020. We are actively working with them to resolve the issue and will share more information as it becomes available.
If this issue causes additional fees, please contact Demonstrator Support at 1-800-782-6787 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We apologize for the concern and inconvenience this has caused.
