Weekly Updates

June 14, 2016

NEW THIS WEEK

Your Website Login Will Work After June 30

We previously announced that on June 30, 2016, there would be some changes in Internet security requirements that would mean some of you with older Internet browsers wouldn’t be able to log into the demonstrator website if you didn’t update your browser. We were just informed that the PCI Security Council has changed the date from June 30, 2016, to June 30, 2018, meaning you’ve got two more years to update your browsers. In other words, no worries!

Availability of Old Demonstrator Website

The old demonstrator website will be available until Tuesday, July 5. You have until then to retrieve any information you’d like to keep, such as issues of Stampin’ Success older than two years or Current Updates from before 2016. Beginning Tuesday, July 5, the old demonstrator website will no longer be available.

Registration for Business Development Program Available June 15

Registration for the Business Development Program opens tomorrow, June 15 at noon (MT). Registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis, and the entire form most be completed before assignments can be made. Follow this link to register beginning Wednesday, June 15, at noon (MT):

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/53SSFHZ

Participation in the program involves coaching calls with a Business Development Advisor (BDA), which occur once every other week. Calls typically last up to a half hour. Your BDA will help you identify areas of opportunity in your business, establish short- and long-term action plans, and create effective accountability systems.

If you would like more information on the benefits of working with a BDA, click here for a program overview, along with an example of a demonstrator coaching session.

Complimentary Stampin’ Up! Logo Sacks Out of Stock

Complimentary white Stampin’ Up! Logo Sacks normally sent out with each demonstrator order are temporarily out of stock. The stocking issue does not affect the 100 packs of Logo Sacks available on the Supply List (item 102518). A new shipment of complimentary Logo Sacks is expected to arrive in early July, at which point we will resume placing them in demonstrator orders.

Paper Pumpkin

Our Paper Pumpkin Grid Paper (143578) has arrived! Protect your workspace in style! Each stack includes 75 single-sided, full-color 11" x 17" sheets with helpful gridlines and rulers (inches only). This item is commissionable and available to customers on the online store. Click here to see it on the Marketing Toolkit page.

Stampin’ Success Online

The latest issue of Stampin’ Success is now available on the demonstrator website. Find exciting new ideas here. Remember to check out the Online Extras as well. There are flyers available to download and print for your events and instructions for all Workshop of the Month projects.

PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED

The 2016-2017 Artisan Design Team Application Process is Now Open

Got creativity? We want to see it--and to share it with people worldwide! We're looking for demonstators to join the 2016-2017 Artisan Design Team, AKA a wonderful group of artists that create projects we share online and at events. Check out some of the projects made by the current Artisan Design Team at their blogs here.

Want to apply? Good. Here's how:

• Review the terms and conditions of participation.
Apply here by June 30, 2016.

It is just that easy! Go forth and create. We look forward to seeing your entries!

Stampin' Trimmer Cutting Blades: Limited Availability Starting June 8

We received a shipment of Stampin' Trimmer Cutting Blades (item 126995) and they will be available to order (limit of three) beginning Wednesday, June 8, at 8:00 AM (MT).

Keep in mind that when this supply of blades is depleted, they will return to "not orderable" status until we receive the next shipment. We expect that the blades will run out quickly since they haven't been consistently orderable for several weeks.

While we recognize that it may be frustrating to have this item switch from orderable to not orderable, we want to do our best to partner with you. We decided to get the blades in as many demonstrators' hands as possible as soon as they arrive versus stockpiling them in our warehouses until we have a large enough supply to ensure that they are orderable in the long term.

We are continuing to work with our supplier to resolve the issues and difficulties we've been experiencing. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Direct Sales Company, Silpada, Going Out of Business

Silpada, a direct sales company that sells jewelry and accessories, announced that they will be closing their business in the next few months. If you have contacts or customers who are Silpada Representatives, let them know about the Stampin’ Up! business opportunity. And don’t forget to tell them that if they join Stampin’ Up! during June, they’ll get two free stamp sets in their starter kit.

Do Not Contact

You’ve asked, we’ve listened. On a trial basis beginning during the Riverton home office work day on June 14, we are going to remove the “do not contact” option from the online store. What does this mean? You’ll get the contact information for all customers who purchase from your online store, so you can communicate with them about their orders. What else does this mean? If you desire to include those customers in any future marketing outreach, you must get their permission PRIOR TO including them and you must give them an option to unsubscribe from any and all of your lists. And, of course, you must comply with their wishes. This updated policy will be included in the Demonstrator Policy document. We are initiating this on a trial basis as we transfer responsibility for customer protection from the organization to individual demonstrators. We ask that you make informed decisions when adding customers to any of your electronic lists.

Please read the linked PDF for more information about our recommendations with this change in policy.

Sounds like you're going to a link you have saved on your computer (or in your browser) and thus you're ending up at the old site.  Make sure you go to www.stampinup.com and then click on the Demonstrator Login banner in the upper right corner.  Once you've done that you can now save that new link as a bookmark if you want.
