New this Week

Time Is Running Out!

Don’t forget: There’s only one week of the Sale-A-Bration pre-earn left, ending January 2! Get in your orders while you can to hit the ground running when Sale-A-Bration starts. Get all the details here.

The Year-End Sales Event Is So 2017

The new year is just days away! Prepare to say hello to 2018 . . . and goodbye to the Year-End Sales Event.

Before we say farewell to special year-end savings on January 2, remind your customers that supplies are limited, so they should take one last look at the items still available in our online store. You wouldn't want them to head into the new year with any regrets, after all!

Last Few Days to Reserve Your Stamparatus

December has flown by, and there are just a few days left for you and your customers to reserve your Stamparatus before the final reservation window closes on Saturday, December 30 at 11:50 PM (MT). Remember, this fantastic, state-of-the-art stamping tool will not be available again until the new annual catalog goes live in June. So don’t wait another minute! Find out more here, then reserve your Stamparatus today!

Project Life by Stampin’ Up! Digital Products

You may recall that Stampin’ Up! had a Project Life partnership with Becky Higgins LLC for a couple years. Though that partnership was dissolved earlier this year, we recently discovered that Becky Higgins LLC was still offering digital versions of our Project Life by Stampin’ Up! products on its website. We have reached out to them and wanted to let you know that Becky Higgins will shortly be announcing the discontinuation of these digital Stampin’ Up! Project Life products on her blog. Your customers who follow Becky Higgins may come to you with questions; you can let them know that these digital products are a result of our former association with Becky Higgins LLC and they will be discontinued on December 31, 2017.

If you or your customers have any questions, please reach out to Demonstrator Support.

Take the Red Box Challenge

Happy New Year, everyone! The Paper Pumpkin team is especially excited for 2018, and we have two great reasons: (1) This year’s kits are amazing; (2) We’ve decided to kick off 2018 with a superfun giveaway. We’re calling it the Red Box Challenge, and it’s easy to get in on the fun!

Simply put together a WOW project using an unused, past kit—or buy a past kit (US l CA) that you’ve had your eye on. Then share an image of your project on Facebook or Instagram with #redboxchallenge and you will be entered into a random drawing to win a Paper Pumpkin kit.

Now, we think all of our kits are wonderful and amazing--but our random drawing winners will receive the upcoming Paper Pumpkin fifth anniversary March kit. Think: Gorgeous and collectible. Everyone is going to want one. AND the winners will get it in their mailbox before anyone else. Sound fun? Check out the terms and conditions here, then start crafting your Red Box Challenge project today!

Note: Some project ideas will be selected from the entries and featured in Paper Pumpkin’s monthly newsletter and on our Facebook and Pinterest pages. Past alternative Paper Pumpkin projects you’ve created and posted on social media are not eligible for this contest.

Previously Announced

CANADA ONLY: Updated Payout Factors for New Quarter

The payout factor is used when converting CSV to your local currency to determine how much you will be paid. Because the payout factor closely relates to trending exchange rates, we will evaluate it for potential changes on a quarterly basis. During this evaluation we consider the previous 12-month, 6-month, and 3-month trends, and then we adjust the payout factors as necessary. View the payout factors for the current quarter and the payout factors for the new quarter in the CSV and Payout Factor Changes document under Business Resources>Compensation Plan. As previously announced, the CSV factors will be evaluated annually and payout factors will be evaluated quarterly. Remember the value of product credits is based on the payout factor at the time they are spent, not when they are redeemed in the Flex Account.

Annual Recognition Corrections

An incorrect tiebreaker was applied when calculating Top Performers in Each Country for Recruiting and Leadership. This error only impacted demonstrators who tied in these two categories (it did not impact the Top Performers in Country for Sales, the Top Overall in Each Country, or our Global 100). We have spoken with each demonstrator affected by this error to discuss and resolve their individual situation. To ensure that this does not happen in the future, we’ve reviewed our awards application and processes and have put additional validation measures in place. We’d like to take this opportunity to apologize again to all who were affected by this error.

In addition, based on demonstrator feedback we’ve replaced the Incentive Trip Achievers list, which included only those who redeemed for the incentive trip, with a Flex Point Achievers list. The new list includes demonstrators who earned 100,000 or 160,000 flex points during the Stampin’ Up! year. This aligns with the categories we recognize at OnStage.

Thank you for your efforts. Recognizing you and celebrating your achievements is important to us. You can view all of these updated lists under In the Spotlight. Congratulations to all of these achievers for their impressive performance!
