Be Ready for OnStage Registration Starting Next Week

It’s time to clear your schedule because OnStage registration starts August 14 for OnStage Live in Orlando and OnStage Local locations South Pacific and Europe! Note the time in your calendar: it starts at 9:00 AM (MT) for silver elite and above and at 10:00 AM (MT) for all demonstrators, supporting demonstrators, and CentreStage guests. Learn more here.

Get ready by reviewing these technical tips we shared with you last week:

Before August 14

The vendor that we work with to create our OnStage registration websites recently let us know that you need an updated web browser to be able to register. Be sure to update your web browser so you have the latest version. 

These web browsers will not work:

  • Google Chrome version 29 and below
  • Mozilla Firefox version 26 and below
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 10 and below
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile 10 and below
  • Apple Safari version 6 and below

On August 14

If you’re having a hard time accessing the OnStage registration website, try these things:

  • Make sure you’re using the latest version of your web browser.
  • Restart your web browser.
  • Clear your browsing data (browsing history, cookies, cached images and files, etc.)
  • Try a different web browser. For example, if you’ve been using Google Chrome, try switching to another web browser you have installed on your computer such as Apple Safari.

OnStage Display Board Stampers Needed 

As you know, we’re getting ready for exciting November OnStage events! Want to get involved? If so, we need demonstrators (of any title) who would like the opportunity to stamp projects for our OnStage display boards. Interested demonstrators must be planning on registering and planning to attend OnStage. 

If you are interested in being an event display stamper, here’s how to apply:

1. Create or collect your best work and include the following hand-stamped items: three card fronts (standard card size), one scrapbook page, and two 3D items. Display stampers will be selected based on the quality and creativity of their submitted artwork.

2. Create a single blog post, Pinterest board, or Demonstrator Business Web Services (DBWS) website post featuring good quality pictures of your projects. 

3. Fill out this application for consideration. We must receive your application by Monday, August 20, 2018.

Selected demonstrators will receive products and supplies to create samples for the event; they’ll also earn a post-event shopping spree. We look forward to seeing your work. Good luck!

Be Ready to Order Your Logo Wear When Registering for OnStage

Did you see this video of the cute logo wear you can order if you’re attending an OnStage event this November? Registration for OnStage starts next week on August 14, and that’s when you’ll order your logo wear. Then at OnStage, you’ll pick up the logo wear you ordered.

Just Days Left for Blooming Savings

Shakin’ Up November Recognition!

In an effort to better recognize you for your accomplishments, we’re shaking things up this November. Recognition celebrations will begin before OnStage and continue during and after the event! 

Before OnStage

The week before OnStage on November 1, we’ll post videos announcing our top performers—like a virtual celebration! These videos will include global 100; top overall in each country; and top in each country for sales, recruiting, and leadership. This will give you a chance to celebrate with those closest to you and watch some or all of the videos together. Gather your teams and other demonstrator friends and watch the award countdowns at your own recognition party! Watch for more details about this as November gets closer.

During OnStage

At check-in, each demonstrator will receive a ribbon representing their title. Demonstrators who achieved Quick Start, annual awards, or 160,000 flex points will receive a ribbon for their accomplishment. Top performers will receive a ribbon, charm, and memento for their ranked award. 

Throughout the event, we will have recognition marches or Stand & Waves for those who achieved Quick Start, anniversaries, title advancements, annual awards, 160,000 flex points, and sales milestones. Top performers will be invited to the stage as their name is announced. In addition, each location will have an achiever display, highlighting top performers. 

After OnStage

After OnStage, we will post achiever lists on the demonstrator website under In the Spotlight or send them out in Succeed Weekly, depending on the category. Top Performers will receive digital badges they can use on their blogs, social media pages, email signatures, etc. In addition, we will spotlight a number of top performers throughout the year. 

We hope you feel the love as we try some new things with recognition this year. We can’t wait to celebrate you and your accomplishments!

The Countdown to OnStage Registration Has Begun

OnStage registration opens in just two weeks! It opens starting on August 14 at 9:00 AM (MT) for silver elite and above and at 10:00 AM (MT) for all demonstrators, supporting demonstrators, and CentreStage guests. We’ve created a countdown clock on the November OnStage page, so keep an eye on it and get ready for August 14!

Jump into the Excitement

You still have time to preorder from the Color Your Season promotion before it’s live to your customers on August 1. Order some favorite exclusives and make samples so that you can be ready to delight your customers with the possibilities of these limited-time products.

Participate in the Next Leader-to-Leader Program

Have you ever wondered how the Stamparatus came into existence? There’s an easy answer: Stampin’ Up!’s Leader-to-Leader (L2L) program! The Stamparatus is a resounding success because of the creative minds of our L2L demonstrators and their dedication to making this stamping tool the best it could be. There is no substitute for direct feedback from our demonstrator leaders. Now that we’ve created this amazing tool together, we’re looking forward to utilizing your input and innovation once again.

To participate in the L2L program, your demonstrator title must be silver elite or above. If you were involved in the previous L2L program, you will still need to qualify and re-enroll to participate again. We want as many participants as possible who qualify, so we will be opening two enrollment periods:

  • September 4–18, 2018
  • March 5–19, 2019

If you haven’t achieved silver elite status yet, don’t stress! You have the month of August to qualify for September enrollment. If that’s not quite enough time for you to reach silver elite, then you’ll have six months until the next—and final—enrollment period in March. During this time, we’ll be focusing on strengthening our partnership with demonstrators as we observe events, identify product or process pain points, and brainstorm solutions. 

Additional enrollment information will be coming soon. We can’t wait to partner with our new L2L demonstrator group and hope you are as excited to participate in the L2L experience as we are!

The earning period for this trip begins in October this year, so start thinking big and set some goals to start the earning period strong.

Do You Want Ink with That?

We hope you enjoy fun and friendly challenges, because we’ve got one that you and your customers can get your inky fingers all over! This August, we’re challenging you to sell as many ink pads as you can. 

Why ink pads? We’ve recently updated our ink pad design and ink color options, and our warehouses are stocked to the brim with new ink pads just waiting to be stamped with. As a bonus, the earning period for our Bonus Days promotionruns August 1–31; this is the perfect time to add an ink pad to customer orders, so your customers can earn a coupon code, which they can redeem in September! (Hint: Ink pads are an easy addition for any customer who has just purchased stamps or paper.)

Here’s how the challenge will work:

  • If you sell 10 ink pads in August, you will earn one FREE. (That means if you sell one assortment of ink pads, you have successfully accomplished your mission!)
  • If your area (see Stampin’ Up!’s 14 global areas here) reaches an average of four ink pads sold per demonstrator, then every demonstrator who sold at least one ink pad during the challenge period will earn one FREE ink pad.
    • DDMs will be monitoring and sharing results throughout the month on the Demonstrator Planning Place on Facebook. We’ll also report the final results in a weekly update in early September.
  • Any ink pads earned during the sales challenge may be redeemed with a demonstrator order September 17–30.
    • Demonstrators who complete the individual sales challenge may choose any ink pad from the Neutrals and Regals collections.
    • Demonstrators who complete the area challenge may choose any ink pad from the Brights and Subtles collections.
    • Free ink pads are limited to one per individual challenge and one per area challenge.
  • The challenge excludes the following products:
    • StazOn Ink Pad
    • Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
    • Uninked Stampin’ Craft Pad
    • VersaMark Pad

Holiday Catalog Correction (US Only)

We do our best to ensure correct prices in our catalogs, but with so many products, an incorrect price gets printed from time to time. When an incorrect price is lower than intended, we try to honor it; the last thing we want is to cause you and your customers any inconvenience! Each case is different though, and sometimes we need to correct the price.

Unfortunately, a few products from the 2018 holiday catalog (US version only) have incorrect prices that fall outside our acceptable price variance, and we need to correct them. We’ve listed the affected items below and have posted additional information about their price adjustments in the Catalog Corrections section of the Catalogs page.
