The holiday catalog customer sales period is quickly approaching; if you haven’t already, take advantage of this time to get ready for your holiday catalog events and parties!
Review the Catalog Details page for important dates and reminders. While there, check out how to order single catalogs beginning September 5. As a reminder, ordering will be unavailable on September 5, 2018, from midnight to 3:00 AM (MT) while we transition the system to the new catalog.
Continue to monitor the Inventory Status Report for more information.
Last Week to Earn Bonus Days Coupons
This is the last week for you and your customers to earn Bonus Days coupon codes! For every $50 USD/$60 CAD your customers spend before August 31 (before shipping and tax), they’ll get a $5 USD/$6 CAD Bonus Days coupon code that can be used September 1–30. Remind your customers to participate in the Color Your Season promotion and earn as many coupon codes as they can before it’s too late!
Our Dashing Along Host Promotion begins September 1. Why is this so exciting? You now have a fabulous perk to entice potential hosts who have been on the fence about holding their very own Stampin’ Up! party. Besides Stampin’ Rewards, for a limited time they can also earn our Dashing Along Designer Series Paper for FREE. Does this beautiful, exclusive paper coordinate with products in the holiday catalog? Yes! Find out more about this fun promotion here, then send out an email blast to your crafty friends, letting them know about this awesome opportunity to score a free Stampin’ Up! product.
Cost Calculator Updated
The Cost Calculator has been updated to show the new holiday catalog products. The cost calculator is a tool designed to help you increase your business’s profitability by breaking down the cost of consumables for you. It shows your cost on individual items (i.e., cost per sheet of cardstock, per inch of ribbon, per button, or per envelope). We have also added a new feature where you can indicate the amount used on each consumable, and the total project cost will be figured for you. Being aware of your costs is a helpful step toward enjoying a rewarding and profitable business.
We are making some changes to CSV product credits in the Flex Account. Beginning October 1, 2018, the local currency value for product credits will be based on the payout factor in effect during flex point redemption (not the payout factor in effect when placing the product order). This eliminates certain tax complications the previous setup caused in some of our markets. If you currently have any product credits you have not used, their value will be based on the payout factor in effect now through September 30, 2018, regardless of when you use the product credit.
As we make the necessary changes in our system for this to happen, we are also able to make another change you have been requesting! Beginning in October, you will be able to use product credits on both commissionable and noncommissionable merchandise. Woohoo!

CSV and Payout Factor Changes—Effective October 1, 2018
Below are the updated CSV and payout factors that will take effect October 1, 2018. As previously announced, we review these factors annually. We will update the CSV and Payout Factor document under Business Resources>Compensation Plan with these new factors by October 1, 2018. That document also contains a Q & A explaining more about these factors and how each of them is used. You can also learn more about them in the Compensation Plan document available on the same web page.
