UPDATES: April 24, 2018: Weekly Updates from Stampin' Up!
Preorder and Complimentary Catalogs
The 2018-2019 annual catalog will go live to your customers on June 1—but the preorder for you begins on May 2! This is a great time to try new products and start prepping for your June events.
Remember: Your complimentary copy of the 2018-2019 annual catalog will be included with your first demonstrator order placed between May 2 and May 13. If you do not place a demonstrator order May 2-13, your complimentary copy of the catalog will be shipped via standard (bulk) shipping the following week. Keep in mind that catalogs sent via standard (bulk) shipping can take up to three weeks to arrive depending on your location. You can find a PDF of the catalog on the Catalogs page until your physical copy arrives.
Here are some other important reminders:
The mailing selector period ends April 30. You may only place one order during the open selection period, so make sure everything is correct before you close it.
Eight-packs of the 2018-2019 annual catalogs will be available for purchase or redemption with flex points beginning May 2.
Ordering will be unavailable on May 2 from midnight to 4:00 AM (MT) while we transition our systems to the new catalog. Ordering will be available again no later than 4:00 AM (MT).
With the preorder starting next week, important news could come up that needs to be communicated right away. With that in mind, we may be posting some updates outside of our normal Weekly Update process. Be sure to regularly check the website until the preorder goes live on May 2.
In case you missed it, the Share What You Love Suite Early Release is happening right now—and you've got until April 30 to make the most of the demonstrator preorder period! Cling Stamps in Japan
Since their introduction in 2010, clear-mount stamps, though popular, face a significant challenge: the label does not stick well to the clear-mount blocks. This is a source of some frustration for both demonstrators and customers.
Stampin’ Up!’s product team has been looking for ways to improve our clear-mount stamps and have found an exciting solution: cling stamps. Cling stamps are similar to clear-mount, except that the image label, once adhered, is permanent and clings much better to clear blocks, creating a more positive stamping experience.
Before making any decisions about the release of cling stamps in all markets, we are testing them in our smallest market, Japan. While Japan has only ever had photopolymer stamps, their 2018-2019 annual catalog will include cling stamp options. We will be closely monitoring the use of cling stamps in Japan and making adjustments, as needed.
As decisions are made concerning cling stamps and their release in other markets, you’ll be the first to know!
