New this Week
OnStage November 2017
April’s OnStage event has come and gone. Are you already thinking about where OnStage will be in November 2017? Here are the details, so mark your calendar and make plans now to join us for stamping, business tips, a cute, new bag filled with Stampin’ Up! goodies, and much more! Oh yes, and there will be crazy hats. And swapping. Lots and lots of swapping. So be sure to join us this November! You won’t want to miss it!
Memories & More Coming June 1
If you haven’t already seen Sara’s announcement about our new memory-keeping product line, Memories & More, be sure to check it out here.
And if we missed you at OnStage, be sure to watch OnStage OnLine to see some of the fun new products being released in the 2017-2018 annual catalog, as well as to view Sara’s presentation featuring one of our new Memories & More products!
Note: Stampin’ Up! is still under contract with Project Life and Becky Higgins LLC and through May 31. While we encourage you to answer any questions your customers might have about Project Life by Stampin’ Up!—especially in light of Becky Higgins’ announcement on her blog and our Project Life products on the retiring list—please do not promote or talk about Memories & More with your customers until June 1.
OnStage in 2018
At OnStage last week, Sara announced our OnStage plans for 2018. Throughout 2018 we’ll be celebrating Stampin’ Up!’s 30th anniversary and will hold our main celebratory event at the November 2018 OnStage Live in Orlando, Florida! We’ll also have OnStage Local events in Europe and the South Pacific.
But before our big 30-year celebration in November, we’ve decided we’ll try something different in April 2018; instead of having an OnStage Live event, we’ll have only OnStage Locals throughout North America, Europe, and the South Pacific. We’ve looked at OnStage attendance and have seen that a lot more of you come to OnStage Local events than OnStage Live. So we thought 2018 was a great time to test out an all-locals OnStage and see how it goes.
We’ll announce the 2018 OnStage Local locations about six months before the events take place. And are you wondering how our events will work after 2018? Hold tight—we’ll see how 2018 goes and make plans from there.
Here’s a quick recap:
April 2018: OnStage Locals in North America, Europe, and South Pacific
November 2018: OnStage Live in Orlando, Florida, and OnStage Locals in Europe and South Pacific
Plan to join us in 2018!
Paper Pumpkin Brand Changes
Last week at OnStage, we announced some exciting changes to the look and feel of Paper Pumpkin: Our logo and boxes are getting a fun refresh starting in June! You can check out the new logo on p. 9 and the back cover of the 2017–2018 annual catalog (US/CA). Also starting with our June shipment, the box will have an updated design (same size and shape), the shipping label will be on the bottom, and the name of the kit will be printed on both ends. Yay!
At this time, we do not have plans to update our logo merchandise, and we think it’s okay for you to continue to use it. In the coming months, you will see the logo change in other areas such as the Paper Pumpkin website and our digital tools in the Marketing Toolkit. We are excited about these changes that give you another reason to talk about Paper Pumpkin at your upcoming events.
April Paper Pumpkin Video
We just started shipping the Sara kit today and can’t wait for you and your customers to get their hands on it. Our Paper Pumpkin video this month will feature a special, guest trainer—Sara! Skip to the fun with her as you create your kit. She’ll provide some step-by-step instructions, tips, and tricks. If you’re planning an event with your subscribers, be sure to include the video to make the experience even more fun. We’ll share it on our YouTube Channel on Friday, April 14 so you’ll have time to watch it and prepare. Enjoy!
Use of Stampin’ Up! Name
Just as a reminder, using the name of Stampin’ Up! in an email address or website (including Facebook) goes against our Internet/Website policy. Here is an excerpt from that policy:
“Demonstrators may not register a personal website, business website, social media site, or have an email address using the name ‘Stampin’ Up!’ or anything deceptively similar. Individuals who become aware of a website or other internet activity that violates Stampin’ Up!’s internet policy should contact Stampin’ Up!”
Please keep in mind when creating social media accounts that including “independent demonstrator” in conjunction with “Stampin’ Up!” is acceptable. You may not represent yourself as an employee or agent of the company and therefore must always indicate that you are an independent demonstrator. To read the full policy, please see the Demonstrator Policies (US/CA) document found in the Print Lab on the demonstrator website.
Eastern Palace Suite Class PDFs Updated
In last week’s Succeed Weekly email we provided you with the Eastern Palace Suite Class. A couple of the measurements were incorrect and we’ve updated them as well as the links to the PDFs in the email and on the demonstrator website. You can also download the updated versions here:
Pricing Error in New Catalogue (Canada Only)
Canadian-English 2017—2018 annual catalogues were printed with pricing errors on p. 231. The catalogue PDFs have been updated with accurate information. We are working on a solution for fixing the printed catalogues that become available on May 2, 2017, and will communicate more details when we have further information.

April Ongoing Title Benefit
Flex points for the April ongoing title benefit will be deposited in your Flex Account when April commissions are finalized. The number of flex points you will receive depends on the title you hold on April 30 (see below). That means if you are close to advancing in title, you have a little over a month to get there before your April ongoing title benefit is calculated. You can do it!
