Suggestions on spending SAB rewards

Cindy McCool

I can’t remember all the details about SAB rewards but I seem to remember there is a “good” way to spend them.  Can I spend them on the new Catalog?  Or, should I spend them on product? Do they expire.

I appreciate suggestions and yes, I know I probably could find this on the SU website, but frankly, I find it less than user friendly when I’m searching for something specific like this.

PS, I did look!

I like to spend them on catalogs and business supplies so I get credit for sales on other items.  I haven’t used mine yet, so hopefully this is still an option.

Hi Cindy,
Yes, I’m sure they are on the Demo website, but why look there when you have us???!!!
Use them for new products when we can Make our preorders as if you’re like me you already have EVERYTHING from the current catalog that you want or need.
I don’t remember how long till they expire for a while.
Also, you will get flex points for your level 4000 for Silver! (My level) in May that will be added to what you already have. Cash them in for more new products !
Just my 2 cents,
Nola

RE: SU!: Suggestions on spending SAB rewards

Cathy Hansen
In reply to this post by Cindy McCool

Sale-a-Bration Rewards expire June 11, 2019.  But this gives you PLENTY of time to order new products from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  To me this is the best value.

Generally, I order catalogs with my Flex Points rather than gift cards to use toward SU products.  It seems like the amount of points you have to give up for a minimal amount of cash hardly seems worth the effort.  But those same points go a long way toward getting free catalogs into the hands of your customers – which hopefully translates into more orders for you!  If I have plenty of catalogs, I usually use Flex Points to get SU shopping bags or collapsible scrap bins to give my customers.

Re: SU!: Suggestions on spending SAB rewards

I agree this is the best way.  Don’t forget flex points come off the merchandise total not the final amount so you lose your demo discount.  And customers love the special SU items such as trash cans and shopping bags you can get from the supply list.   Pens and other items generally are poor quality and overpriced

If you have lots of points and don’t need more catalogs or business supplies then of course get merchandise.

Good suggestion! I never thought about that before, although I usually use Flex Points for my catalogs.

Re: SU!: Suggestions on spending SAB rewards

Interesting comment about the pens.  I found the pens that advertised Paper Pumpkin to be among the best pens I've ever had.  I've used them at classes and customer events and never had anyone have a problem.

I, too, use my FlexPoints for catalogs most of the time.  I prefer to have my product purchases count toward my sales.
