Storage boxes

Blythe Klipple

I’m searching for pretty much straight sided, shoe box size storage boxes.  Do you have a favorite plastic box (+ source) that works well for your stamping stash storage?  I could also be interested in a larger size, like ‘double shoe box' but not a ’tub’ size.  My room sports a very eclectic assortment of cupboards or shelf units including ELFA units and two IKEA cubes that, in our old house, supported a very large/heavy door that was my work table.  Now they are just stacked on top of each other, trying to be efficient.  They’re almost too deep to be efficient.

Thanks for your thoughts, tips, clues…………..

Blythe,

Several years ago I made the switch to all Container Store shoe boxes. It took a while, but they stack nicely on top of each other, are easy to label, and make my stash look organied. They do have sales on them from time to time. It's also worth buying a case of them, if you need that many. I also use the accessory boxes for smaller collections.

Re: SU!: Storage boxes - SUCCESS - THANK YOU SUDSOLers !

Blythe Klipple

Thanks to Jan Grant my day has been made and I ordered A LOT of exactly what I had in my mind.  They’ll stack.  I can label the containers, I can order more if necessary.  I don’t have to go out.  Shipping is free (over $75!).  Now I can move on with the reorganization of this helter/skelter mess.

This is what I ordered:

Leftovers, if any, can serve well in other closets in this house.  What sold me was the straight sides, stackability and label-ability.

Target has a good assortment of plastic boxes. I believe every plastic box in my craft room and kitchen is from Target.
