Stampin' Blends Storage

wenkerc
I just ordered the complete set of the markers and was wondering what some of you are using for storage. SU recommends laying flat but that would take up a lot of room on my table. Any quick, easy and inexpensive ideas? Thanks in advance! Re: SU!: Stampin' Blends Storage

Kathy Slamar

I put mine in the cases we use for wooden stamps.  I had some extra.  I can fit the set in two boxes.  Easy to see the colors.

I use the Full Size Clear Mount Cases #127551 and slide in my own inserts (attached). They fit in 2 cases and are easy to store with my stamps etc. Easy to take to workshops, camps etc. I've attached both the word document and the pdf. Trim down to fit after printing. As I'm in Australia, you may have to adjust paper size, margins etc. Hope this helps

I purchased via Amazon a ArtBin Essentials Storage Box 6" x 6" clear storage container, 6953AB.  Cost was $8.74. A little more than what others would cost bit well worth it.  I purchased a second one to transport my  6"x 6" DSP. Very sturdy, not flimsy.

Re: SU!: Stampin' Blends Storage

Libby Dyson

My pleasure. If you use the Word document you can organise your cases which ever way you like. Save the original and remove the colours you don't want in a case. Give it another name and print. Then open the original and do the same for the 2nd case and give it the 2nd name and print. I have a friend who organises her's into warm and cool colours. You could organises them according to colour families too. Just a couple of suggestions

Maria Pobre
In reply to this post by wenkerc

I can’t help with a storage container suggestion because I am able to have something custom made since my husband knows several carpenters, but I feel the need to remind everyone the reason double tipped markers should be stored flat is so the ink remains in both ends of the marker.

Re: SU!: Stampin' Blends Storage

I took four of our clear acetate card boxes and cut the flaps off of one end of each of the boxes.  Then  using packing tape I taped two boxes together (set of two).  Tape all four (2 sets) together using packing tape.  If you want to make this more attractive, use a belly band of DSP.

This takes up very little room and will hold all the markers, including the skin tones and the color lifter.

Takes very little storage room.

I second what Kathy Slamar said……..  I put my Blends in two wood mount stamp boxes and they fit perfectly.  They really take up only a bit on space in a drawer or on a table top.  And visibility is easy.

Thanks for sharing your inserts for the cases, Libby!  Do you just place the Blends inside, or did you create some kind of ‘holder’ inside, so they don’t all slide about?

I use the Full Size Clear Mount Cases #127551 and slide in my own inserts (attached). They fit in 2 cases and are easy to store with my stamps etc. Easy to take to workshops, camps etc. I've attached both the word document and the pdf. Trim down to fit after printing. As I'm in Australia, you may have to adjust paper size, margins etc. Hope this helps

I just ordered the complete set of the markers and was wondering what some of you are using for storage. SU recommends laying flat but that would take up a lot of room on my table. Any quick, easy and inexpensive ideas? Thanks in advance!
