Square Cards

Robin Messenheimer
In this morning's daily e-mail, John Sanpietro remarked that square cards have been selling well on Etsy. That message arrived at just the moment I was trying to figure out a design for cards for some friends who've been doing a lot of knitting during the pandemic. I had planned to use the retired Winter Knit 3D embossing folder for their cards, and I instantly saw that a square card was going to work. I even made a square envelope as I won't have to mail it (and incur a postage surcharge). The cards measure 5-1/4" square. I made the envelope with the envelope punch board with 8-1/2" square paper with the first cut at 4-1/4" (all the cuts end up being at 4-1/4").

Re: SU!: Square Cards

Maria Pobre

You’re welcome!

Thank you for letting me know what stamp set. I don’t have that one.

I used all the card bases from two Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kits for a customer order of hand sanitizer boxes (photo below), but still have the wreaths and knit cable backgrounds to use. I was thinking of doing something similar to your card with a winter sentiment.

Happy Stampin’~
Maria
