SU!: What is it? Occasions Mini

I have the mini in hand, and cannot figure out what two images are.  They are both in birthday stamp sets on pages 34 and 35.  Pg 34 bottom right image looks like 3 hot dog or hamburgers?  Pg 35 pyramid of sandwiches?
Thanks

They look like macarons.  They're a french cookie that is all the rage
right now.  They come in in all kinds of colors.

SU!: Re: What is it? Another Answer--Occasions Mini

Diane Harman
In reply to this post by Diane Harman

After reading through the answers, macarones was suggested the most, but then I got thinking.  Maybe the design is just vague enough for us to color or stamp it so that we can make them moon pies, hamburgers, whoopie pies, macarons, donuts, oreos, deep fried oreos, bun sandwiches,
So, when we get the sets, we can stamp them to fit our parties!

The catty is still a bit confusing, better than last, but I still like my sample with the product.

But I love this mini.  so much fun stuff in it.

They are seriously good! I especially like the green ones. I think it’s supposed to be pistachio but whatever it is, it’s wonderful. It’s hard to find good ones in the US, outside of big Cities like NYC & SF, but you can if you find a talented bakery. Then of course they are all over Paris, tasting wonderfully and making beautiful photo opportunities.

Hi everyone

I was at Costco today and they just got them in. They are the French ones not the coconut ones. There are 5 flavors
Chocolate, coffee, raspberry, pistachio and a mango/passion fruit one. They sell for $10.99 for 15 of them. Of course I could hardly wait to get home to try them. They are kind of a caky chewy merengue with a thick creamy filling. They are so good! I will definitely be buying more for the holidays.

I'm from Pennsylvania and it looks like a Whoopie pie to me!  We are no
longer limited to the traditional dark chocolate - now they come in many
flavors - red velvet, chocolate chip, pumpkin, with all kinds of frosting
fillings.  I've been waiting for them to show up in Crushed Cantaloupe,
Pistachio Pudding, Daffodil Delight, just like you see in so many wedding
blogs and some stamping challenges.  Now I know what those treats are -
macarons.
