SU!: MDS Help - Downloading ClipArt

Jean Spells

Can someone direct me to a tutorial or tell me how I can download non-SU clip art and paper into MDS?  Thanks!

Jean,

I don't have a tutorial nor have I done this. But, I know that the only
non-SU "clip art"  that is compatible would have to be either jpg, png or
svg format. Some clip art comes in different formats, so be aware of that.
Second, the jpg or png formats would be incorporated into your project just
like pictures would. So you could add them to photo boxes or punches and
then use all the editing options that are available to pictures. To use the
downloaded jpg or png files, you can keep them in with your pictures and
then find them the same way you do with your pictures.

Using SVG files would probably be different. I hope someone in the group
will add to this discussion.

You can save png files in your own folder in the embellishments folder and
use them just like any other embellishment. Before MDS 2, I took some of the
stamp images and colored them in a graphics program, saved them as png and
used them as embellishments.
