Hello ladies My Dad (who lives in the UK), and who is still very active despite being 85years old, recently had an accident on one of his motorbikes (yes I know but it's his thing!) and broke his ankle. The wound got infected and he spent 2 weeks in hospital. He is now home, but they say he could be off his feet for up to 12 weeks which I know will drive him insane as he is normally walking everywhere or off on one of his bikes :( Neither my brother or I can be there as I am here in the US, and my brother is teaching in China right now, and my parents divorced 20 years ago. It would be great if he could get some cards to give him something to read and look at while he can't be out and about. I know this is rather a big deal as most of you ladies live in the US and so it will cost more in postage, so I am even more appreciative if you can help Thanks. Sorry I've been away from my computer, but several of you have asked (and I apologise for not replying directly for those of you who did ask) what postage would be for this. The basic rate is $1.10. Adding embellies or layers that increase the weight makes it $2.05. Thanks to everyone who is willing to help cheer my Dad up Catie STAMPING SCRAPPING & SCOUTING IN BEAUTIFUL SOUTHERN MARYLAND 2013 Scrapping goal: 104reg/52digi So far: 107/1 2013 Stamping goal: 156 items So far: 275 Swaps: 9/RAKs sent: 12 12 Scrapping:70pgs & 64alsb/Stamping: 396/Swaps: 12/RAKs: 69 11 Scrapping: 129pgs/140alsb/Stamping: 290/ Swaps: 26/RAks: 18 On Saturday, October 12, 2013 12:14 AM, Pamela Sanchez < Hi Catie - Can you please tell me how much postage to put on a card to your Dad?
