SU!: 2014 template for 8-1/2 x 11 calendar

Blythe Klipple

My sister Janet and I are working together (sort of--side by side, Mac & PC), trying to set up a family calendar.  We've tried several of the options for designer templates or create your own.

We like the template with the month and year on the right side but don't want to change alllllll of 2011 to 2014 dates.  There is an option to choose your month/year calendar page but it has the month/year on the top and you cannot change the format.  UGH.

Is there a solution that anyone has come upon or that we're overlooking?  Our time and access is very limited.  (You can ask privately).

Thanks so much,

~Blythe

I like my month and year on the right side, too. Here's what I do for my annual calendar:

Start a blank calendar template. From the Design Center column on the right, choose Calendar, Add Month, pick your month and year, turn off the Header option and either turn on or off the lines option. I turned off the lines option.
Adjust the size of the calendar to fit your page the way you like. I then added the days of the week across the top and the stylized lines I wanted (I made it look like the calendar template from 2011, which I love) and I copied the month/year block from that original 2011 calendar template and pasted in to my current calendar. Changed the year to the current one by selecting and typing over the 11. Once I had one month looking exactly like I wanted it, I duplicated the page 11 times. Then it was easy to select just the date block and click on the Calendar option, select the new month, and presto, all the dates corrected themselves.

I hope this is understandable. I've been using the same style calendar since I first got MDS - that first template the program had was a winner in my book!
