Technique Spotlight—3620 – Center Stage Technique
This week’s technique spotlight looks at the Center Stage
Technique. You can find the directions provided by Robin Messenheimer by clicking here. This might be a good technique to revisit as we gear up for our holiday stamping projects. Can't you see a cute Snowman, Menorah, Christmas Tree, or Holiday wreath?
Each week I will pick a technique. Find samples using this technique or create one yourself and pin to SUDSOL with the coordinating week number. Pinning to SUDSL is super easy (instructions are here). The idea is to have a good selection of samples shared for each week’s technique so everyone can benefit from the fantastic ideas. This week’s pin ID is STC3620.
What’s the win part? Each week I’ll pick a random pin to reward the person who pinned it with a week of free SUDSOL. Play every week for a chance to get your SUDSOL membership totally free! You get one entry for every new pin you make. Sorry, re-pinning from items already on SUDSOL doesn’t count.
Hello stampers. Your design challenge this week is to design a surprise diorama card. This design is different than the usual diorama card in that it looks like a regular card until it is opened. Julie Davison has a video from 2014 on how to make this card, http://juliedavison.blogspot.com/2014/11/video-surprise-pop-up-diroama-card.html. Her measurements are slightly different than the ones I am sharing here. Let’s update this easy surprise diorama card. Be sure to pin and tag your creations with SDC628.
When I saw this type card that Patty Bennet had made, I just had to make one for myself and I knew just what set to use…the Sending Sunshine set. I envisioned using this set for a moon rise or setting image. I ended up with a sunset/moon rise combo. I wonder what you will use.
