New DBWS Experience

Robin Messenheimer
I just finished a quick personalization of my new DBWS and I found it SOOOO much easier to use than before. I was able to use the image I use for Facebook and it fit perfectly. I have not tried the calendar yet, but I have no doubt it should be easier, too. I've got other things to do this morning (?!)

One thing that's different, and I'm a bit unhappy that it happened, is that my website address has changed. Since I first had a DBWS the address has been robinstamps.stampinup.net (I used Robin Stamps when I started before Robin's Craft Room). Now it's RobinMessenheimer.stampinup.net. When I try the robinstamps address, it just says it doesn't exist. So my business cards are instantly out of date. But at this point I don't think there's anything I can do. I'll order up new business cards.

I'm looking forward to reading about the experiences of the rest of you and hope to have time to do a more thorough update tomorrow.

Robin – you should be able to change your website.  Go into Manage DBWS, click BUSINESS, then MY WEBSITE.  Click on your default site, and at the top is the site link.  Change it there.  Should be pretty easy.

I can't even find where my web address IS! I finally wrote DS after spending a half hour looking. The only things I have are the walkthrough and questions and answers.

Robin, you can change it! I went to my website the first time today and it said it didn't exist. I logged into DBWS, and clicked on My Website and discovered they added a "_1" after my name so I changed it back and it works. Good luck!

RE: SU!: New DBWS Experience

Cathy Hansen

Mine didn’t change either . . . but they picked up my host code from June!  I’ve fixed that – after sitting through the REALLY LONG walk-thru.  Will have to find some extra time soon to add my calendar items back in.

I really liked the new DBWS Calendar feature. It was very intuitive. I was able to post my event, photo and invite people to my event with three easy clicks. Nice!
