Mounting Work of Art

Diane Harman
For all of you that went to the premier, how did you mount your Work of Art stamp set if you wanted it to be clear mounted?.  I ordered the cling foam, but then -Long story short, I ended up in the hospital for 6 days, then had to get back to work and my son got married this past weekend.

I have club on Friday, and don't know whether to use the cling foam-and if I do, do I remove the old foam?.  Should I just trim so that some of the sticky foam is free to cling to the stamps, or use the two way glue pen?  I have spent 45 minutes researching when I should have been stamping.

Thanks

Re: SU!: Mounting Work of Art

I found I needed to take off the old foam; otherwise, the stickiness of the "ready to put on a wood block" backing stuck to my clear block and was a bear to remove.  Taking the old foam off was pretty easy and I really like stamping with clear blocks.

Hope this helps,

All I did was put the wood blocks in the recycle pile, trim the stickers a teeny bit to leave a narrow margin of stickiness and slapped ‘em on the stamps.  Put the rubber punch out piece in the box and stuck the stamps in the holes.  I folded over the excess of the box liner and slid it into one of the slim boxes and there you go.  Works like a charm!

Yep, that's all I did too.  I didn't think to trim the stickers though.  I will remember that for next time.
