Instant Icons Are Back!!!

Jeanne Moss

My most used SUDSOL resource is the Instant Icon builder.  I didn’t try this for so long because I was afraid it would be complicated or I wouldn’t be able to figure it out.  If you haven’t tried this program, it is a very easy way to get product links into your blog.

After the recent Stampin’ Up! website update, Patti had to have the Instant Icon program rebuilt.  But now, it’s better than ever!!  You simply put your demonstrator number in one box, add the product numbers you want to link in another box, press a button and it generates the links.  Then you just copy and paste the text into your blog (in the text format), and you’re done!  It’s amazing!

When/where can these be used besides blogs?  I use a Facebook business page and a closed customer group rather than blogging.

Because Facebook doesn’t allow code – the best way you could use this I believe would be to use the form to create the icons for the sample you are showing. Use the Snipping Tool to copy and make an image, that you could share. For instance – you share the card on your Facebook page, then in the comments share the image with the items used and a link to your store.

Won’t quite be the same as the individual products won’t be linked – but people can see the image and use it to shop.

We are working on repairing the PDF builder – and when that is fixed – it will be better for Facebook. As you can load an image of the sample, notes, and then the items used and save as a PDF to be uploaded.
