Hammered metal EF

grantj

I’ve tried different combinations of platforms, plates, or nothing at all and the EF won’t go through my big shot. I have one of the earliest models SU! sold, and I’ve never had a problem. I tried “fold” end first and open end first. Any suggestions?

You need to use the new 3D embossing plate with the new thick embossing folders.

Jan, do you have the base with the tabs?  If so, you need to open the tabs to accommodate the embossing folders.  And then use just one acrylic pad – either the original one with shims, or the new 3D embossing folder plate.

I had success using the platform with the thin die adapter, embossing folder with paper, clear cutting plate.

Maria Pobre

My downline uses the old platform with tabs, that originally came with the Big Shot, and has been happy with the results.

Re: SU!: Hammered metal EF

I tried it last night. I used the platform, the embossing folder, and the blue embossing plate.   It worked perfectly.
