Envelope Paper

Jan Farring

Has anyone received their Envelope Paper (page 149) and used it = I'm
curious to know what the consistency is and since it's "thin" will it
hold up for envelopes?

The reason I'm asking is because I've made lots of envelopes from DSP
and I have a problem with it scoring and cracking.

Thanks for any input

I will be using for lining envelopes.  It's not heavy enough (in my opinion) for envelopes.

Re: Envelope Paper

I got to play with the Envelope Paper one of my downline ordered; I made an envelope, plus a little pouch for a treat.  It’s very easy to work with; it scored and creased well, without cracking or splitting.  I think the weight of it would be fine for mailing cards – probably without extra-high embellishments, though; otherwise you’d have to make a larger envelope, and add some padding.  (which we usually have to do with regular envelopes, anyway).
That’s my thoughts Smile

It seems to be about the same thickness as our envelopes, which are of a sturdier quality than some of the DSPs.

I used it and found it cracked.  I agree to use it to line envelopes.  Not sure how they thought it would be better for envelopes - its as light weight as DSP.
