15 Minute Business Builder Task

Social Networking

Let's Get Social

It’s not just for the kids anymore! Social Networking sites (like Facebook, Pinterest, etc) can be huge “time suckers”, but they can also be fantastic for marketing your business! You can get your information out to the masses within a very short period of time. Most people use some form of social media on a daily basis and are open to receive a lot of information through it. If they are connected to you, then your message will reach them.

Take 15 minutes today and plan a week’s worth of Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and/or Twitter posts. Be ready to post them!

Facebook – Got a class coming up? Is there a current Stampin’ Up! Special? Let your fans know!

Instagram - share something you've stamped recently

Downline – praise and celebrate, include ideas for promoting specials, a business tip, a sample or two.

Not doing the social thing yet?  Pick one (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and schedule some time this week to set it up and get started!

Here are some tips:

  • Be sure you set up a business account/page/group, don't use your personal page.
  • Share more than your business stuff - don't be salesy! Add in a personal tid bit or two every few postings
  • Use hashtags - maybe even create one just for you - and encourage your customers to use it too!

Taking Time For Business

Time is a manmade concept. It’s a little hard to swallow sometimes, particularly since everything in our lives seems to revolve around it.

Many times you hear excuses that there just isn’t enough time in the day to build your business.

Each day SUDSOL recommends one 15 minute task to work on to help build your business. These are achievable tasks that you absolutely can do.

Take 15 minutes from your lunch break, after dinner, before heading to work, or some other time that works into your schedule – and tackle just one small task to help build your business!
