Send out your Newsletter

When is the best day and time to send your newsletter?

According to a study by MailChimp consisting of over a billion emails, subscribers are more likely to open an e-mail in the afternoon (peaking at 2pm), Monday thru Friday, with Tuesday and Thursday being the highest volume days for opens.

So sending your email during these times you may be more likely for your customer to open and read your email.

But how do you do that if you won't be at your computer?

Did you know most email programs have a delayed send feature? In Microsoft Outlook 2007 you can find this under "Options, Delay Delivery" (Check Help for your email program to get specifics for your program).

You can usually specify not only the day, but also the time you want the email sent. You'll likely need to make sure your computer is on and your email program is open so that it can send the email.

Take 15 minutes today and learn how to set up delayed emails in your email program and send your newsletter out!
