Blendies Exchange

Phyllis Strickland

Is Stampin Up allowing customers to exchange all their unused new Blendabilities, including the ones that are not dry?

The FAQ refers only to defective markers.

I still say that people should be allowed to exchange all of them because they are useless if you don’t have a good range of colors.  This will only encourage them to buy another brand to fill in the missing colors because you have to have red yellow and orange!!   That much less for them to buy if SU ever offers them again..

I would contact SU! about it and ask them directly.  I get the impression they're handling things on a case by case basis.

Whenever I see conflicting responses from DS, I send an e-mail. On two occasions, I've used that e-mail to prove my position. Unless it's something innocuous, I never call DS any more. I want an e-mail for "evidence." It may take a day or two longer, but it's worth it.

Re: SU!: Blendies Exchange

Maria Pobre

One if my downline wanted to exchange all her Blendies... dry or not... since they purchased them the beginning of this year and worried they may all end up being defective. Demo Support initially said only the dry ones. She pushed the topic and eventually they relented... but they also insisted she send them all back.

RE: SU!: Blendies Exchange

Phyllis Strickland

Thanks for the I information!

I haven’t been able to get through – long waits that I have to give up and they do NOT return the call, line is actually BUSY!!!!!

Well they will have to honor the SAB items one way or another.  No one would care if it isn’t an SAB except they say they will not be happy if they offer $7.95 item to replace $11.95 since they purchased more than usual,  specifically to get the Blendies.

What a nightmare!!!

Phyllis, and others, hope you have a better answer by now.  (I had trouble getting in here).  Anyway, as soon as the message came out, I called.  SU sent me a label and I returned (for product) all of my Blendabilities.  I was even able to expedite!  (Approximately $175.00)  Good luck.

Thanks for the update!  I have not even been able to get through . Either the # is busy or they have long wait times, which I cannot do I have a business to run during the day and appointments in the evenings.  I leave my call back # and they don’t call back.

Were you able to exchange the Blendies you bought last summer or only those you got during SAB?

RE: SU!: Blendies Exchange

Karel Standish

I called for a customer and DS  told me they will only exchange the blendies that are defective.  I specifically asked if I could return them all for credit end I was told no, only the defective ones.  Guess it depends on who you talk to.  I do know they are working on a plan to compensate demonstrators that have purchased them.

Happy Easter!

Karel

Re: SU!: Blendies Exchange

In reply to this post by Phyllis Strickland

I called there today and got a different story.  I am suppose to sort out what is faulty and what I want to return. They will pay postage on faulty.  I sure wish we could get ONE story and everyone sticks to it.  The lady from SU did say they are still trying to come up with a plan for demos.

Phyllis

Is Stampin Up allowing customers to exchange all their unused new Blendabilities, including the ones that are not dry?

The FAQ refers only to defective markers.

I still say that people should be allowed to exchange all of them because they are useless if you don’t have a good range of colors.  This will only encourage them to buy another brand to fill in the missing colors because you have to have red yellow and orange!!   That much less for them to buy if SU ever offers them again..

Re: SU!: Blendies Exchange

I was able to return ALL Blendabilities.  Yes, some were purchased in June-ish.  (when they first came out).  I believe I ordered all when they first came out. I did call ASAP when original return information came out.  This is going to cost SU some $$. I wonder if that is why lines are "busy".  My reasoning was that I could not purchase any more, line was discontinued, (had not been out there that long).  We could not demo any more.  So SU needed to "fix" this dilemma.  Not sure if this is a good answer, but  good luck to other Demos.  (As a thought, why would a Demo check "all" blendabilities as the main problem is that they are "drying out". That just does not make sense.)
