Are SU ink refills safe for coloring Easter eggs?

wenkerc
I hard boiled some eggs today and wondered if I could quickly and safely color them with our reinkers.  Does anyone know for sure if they are edible and/or safe for food?

Thanks for the quick response. Does anyone have a technique for doing this with the reinkers?

I don't have a technique, although I bet they'd be cool with the spritzers.

And I'm fairly sure they're non-toxic, since Bonnie Farley Thurber licked a stamp to clean it at OnStage Minneapolis last weekend! :) Did anyone else see that?!?!?

I lick my stamps all the time – and haven’t had an adverse reaction in 20 years LOL (ok – my friends may disagree and say I am adverse all the time! LOL)

Some people are really picky about food safe, etc – I say live a litte! LOL
