All Occasion Cards

Jean Spells
Hello All! I have a customer that wants a boxed set of 20 all occasion cards.  Any suggestions on pricing? I don't want to over price but don't want to give them away either.  One more question - is it in poor taste to use retired papers and stamps?  The likelihood of this person becoming a demonstrator is slim to none but I do believe she will order cards regularly.

Good morning Jean,

The only problem I see with using retired product (papers, the stamps not so much) is that your client will fall in love with a card and want you to make a BUNCH. Then, you won't be able to get more of a particular product. If this isn't a problem, then I'd say go for it. Might as well use it up!

As to pricing, for 20 cards, I wouldn't go much below $40, but I guess it all depends on your market and how fancy the cards are.

Good luck!

Hugs~

Does she want 20 different cards, or can you do 5 designs?  Now, how
long will it take to make those cards?  Figure the cost of materials
and then add this all up. DO NOT forget envelopes, etc. PAY YOURSELF
FOR YOUR TIME.

Base price for me is $3 a card.  Yes, that sounds like a lot, but have
you priced cards in the card store?  Yes, give her a discount and
maybe do $2.50 a card, but do not go much lower.
